Edgewater Golf Course is open for lunch Monday – Friday from 11:00-2:00. Our menu offers a great selection of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and salads. There were 50 players from around Northeast Iowa competing in the 36 hole stroke play tournament. The Open Champion was Josh Black of Oelwein, with a three under par total of 139. Brian Rodenberg of Elkader captured the Senior Champion title, shooting a two day total 147. A Super Senior division was added to the tournament this year, won by Dan Malloy, who shot a two day total of 151.

Carson Barron of Independence had an exciting round on Saturday at Hickory Grove. An ace on hole 11 led to a strong round of even par 72.  This is Carson’s second hole in one!

Saturday evening the Solsma Sole Survivor, sponsored by Curt Solsma of Edward Jones, was held at Hickory Grove. Nearly 30 players began on hole number one with hopes of being the last man standing. In the end it was JB Patterson of Cedar Rapids who took the title and the $250 prize. Mike Nelson of Cedar Falls and Carson Barron of Independence took runner up honors.2012 Hub City NE IA Am Results
